Strong, Reliable Clippers That Make Nail Trims Stress-Free
We love this clipper! My previous one was so flimsy it couldn’t even get through my dog’s thick nails, but this one is strong and sturdy—making nail trims quick and far less traumatic for my drama queen’s “spa days.” Now I can easily keep all my animals’ nails in check at home, saving money on grooming appointments. It even works for my cat’s nails, as long as I’m extra careful. The built-in safety guard is a lifesaver for someone like me who’s terrified of cutting too short. That said, if your pup’s nails haven’t been trimmed in a while, the guard might still be a bit too long at first and could nick the blood supply. I found trimming a teeny tiny bit each week got my dog’s nails back to a healthy length. My advice—go slow at first until you’re comfortable, and you’ll love these clippers as much as I do.

Does the Job
These clippers did a great job! The cut really smoothly and the “guard” is nice to have. However, even with that guard I was able to cut my dogs nail too short and it bled. Other than that – super easy to squeeze, not very loud, easy to use in general.

Surprisingly Sharp & Easy! Perfect for My German Shepherd!
Super easy to use! I honestly didn’t think these would be sharp enough, but they worked perfectly. I’m trying to save some money by trimming my German Shepherd’s nails at home, and these clippers did the job great! The squeeze grip is really comfortable and easy to manage, even with my RA, I was still able to use them without any pain or struggle. Highly recommend

Can “split” nails if not done at the right angle and pressure.
It’s probably a fine nail nipper. In my case I had to start maintaining my 16 y.o cats nails as he got older. Given he had never had them trimmed before he can be a bit hard to work with. So a fair bit of the time when I use them it will “split” his nail. Which of course he doesn’t love. The nail file was a good touch. If I can get him into the right angle, it might not split, but because he’s so not used to the sensation it’s a little tricky to get him into said right spot.

Simple and effective
So surprised that my Havapoo pup let me cut her nails with these! I originally had the grinder for 2 years & she hated it, even with treats. I could never even get one nail cut down. I finally gave into the simpler nail clipper for animals & she let me cut all her nails at once. Definitely recommend!

Best quality fits great in my hands
These are the best clippers I’ve ever owned. I’ve been cutting our dogs nails for over 20 years and have never had a better pair of clippers. They are just the right size for my hands. We have 3 dogs a chihuahua a shitzu and large breed puppy. They worked great on all three they are sturdy sharp fast at clipping without breaking their nails. They even have a metal file that comes out of the bottom to help file any sharp edges. Well made comfortable in my hands and I love the color!

Drama free nail trims
I have a reactive dog who deeply dislikes her paws being touched. The guard on these clippers ensures I won’t accidentally quick her or break a nail if she happens to move suddenly during a trim. The clippers also seem to produce a “cleaner” cut. This alleviates my worry that an accidental nail injury could undo a year of working with her on accepting her paws being handled. My dog and I are both more at ease during nail trims, which is priceless to me considering how difficult this task has been in the past. These are my favorite nail clippers and I highly recommend them, especially for anxious or reactive dogs or those who have trouble tolerating nail trims.
