Good option for small/medium dogs
It took a couple days to fully expand but since then it’s held up really well! It’s not too steep so it was good for our medium size dog while he recovered from a leg injury! He’s about 45 pounds and it works great, very sturdy and doesn’t smash down. However, it definitely crunches up if our 75 pounder tries to use it. It stays in place on the rug but does slide a little bit on the hardwood floors.

Don’t let negative reviews discourage your purchase
Let me start by saying my bed is exceptionally tall, I purchased these stairs the (4) step before reading “the negative reviews” the stairs were a little short for my tall bed. So I ordered a 5 step, a different brand stairs the next day, I immediately realized the first stairs were better quality and better in every aspect compared to the second 5 step brand even though the 5 step was more expensive. I went back to the original 4 step stairs in my order history to order a 5 step from the first manufacturer and saw all the negative reviews, and decided I needed to write this review, DO NOT LISTEN to the negative reviews these stairs are well made. I don’t typically write reviews but I didn’t want others to miss out on a good quality product, and how well made and perfect these steps are. Unfortunately they do not come in a 5 step option, and they are a little short for my tall bed but we will try and make them work because they are excellent stairs. Don’t let the negative views discourage you this is a very good product, HIGHLY recommend. Came with cover already on the stairs, opened up quickly, no smell and great fabric covering.

Perfect for my old, overweight Jack Russell
My Jack Russell is spastic. She is 14, overweight, and arthritic in her hips. She can no longer jump on furniture.Ordered these foam steps. Four tier. PERFECT HEIGHT. We opened the package and left it out to pop into shape. Six hours later they were stairs. 12 hours later they were ready. Had no trouble getting the cover on.Literally placed them in front of the chair, and the moment I got them there my baby hopped on and climbed up. No problem. She has now used them many times in the last hour up and down. She loves them. When we go to bed tonight, we will move them to the bed for ember to climb up and down. They are a smidge shorter than our bed, but not by much and she has already tested them out and had no problem getting up on the bed and down again. Now, we have vinyl floors and, as I said, my baby is a chunky monkey. So the steps do slide a smidge. Not enough for her to fall off or anything but enough for momma (me) to not like it. So we purchased a roll of Velcro at Joanne’s craft store and laid it in front of the chair on the floor and attached the other side to the bottom of the step. Did the same in the bedroom. And it keeps it stable to the floor for her to use it and momma feel she is safe. And it’s still moveable from room to room.Extra bonus and really impressive for the company: They included a tug-of-war toy in the package. I absolutely love this because, one, it’s very thoughtful. Two, it’s a ready-made positive reinforcement toy to show the babies that the steps are a good thing for those babies that are apprehensive. My baby was not apprehensive. But when we opened the toy, she knew it was for her and she was happy to accept it. LOL.Really love the product. My baby is happy. She is going to have a much more comfortable, easier, less painful or non-painful experience getting on her furniture. And it really soothes my heart to know that she won’t have to rely on me picking her up to place her. She gets to maintain her independence and her confidence into these last years of her life.Great product. Totally recommend it!

Dog stairs
Stairs are very nice. The only down side is the steps are not pronounced enough especially at the bottom. Is more ramp like. My dog will go down but won’t go up. Hoping that will change.

Great Ramp for Senior Dogs
My 11-year-old terrier was having difficulty jumping on the couch – and didn’t like me lifting him up. (He’s stubborn. So I searched online for different ramps, reading reviews, etc., and decided to give this ramp a try. It worked perfectly. Once I coaxed him up and down it a couple of times, he had it down pat. This ramp can slide a bit on hardwood or slick flooring, but it worked fine on an area rug. It works great as a cost effective aid for my dog.

VERY NICE!
This is my first purchase of this ramp. I recently found a nearly new one in my thrift store. Wow-after trying it we decided we needed another one. We now have one for upstairs and one for downstairs. I have one severely arthritic, elderly cat who took to the first one immediately (which cats don’t usually do…:). My cats never used the steps we’ve used in the past. I think steps are more for people? This is more like a nice, comfy ramp more attuned to cats. Plus, they can get in a nice luxurious scratch on it! Definitely recommend this product.

Not ideal for older, medium sized dogs
Well-made, aesthetically appealing, but if you have an older medium sized dog, they may not like that the steps b/c they aren’t sturdy enough, my dog won’t use it (after one time) because she her feet sunk and spooked her – she’s a lab.

Awesome
The listing looked more gray, so at first I thought they sent the wrong color (not that it mattered), but I just noticed it’s actually listed as white. In person, it’s a much brighter white than the picture shows, which I actually prefer. These stairs are perfect height and perfect firmness for my <5lb puppy. They don’t slide around, they stay put. Very worth it.

We love this because of how soft it is.
We loved it, but if your dog likes to chew would not recommend this into 1 million pieces

Sturdy foam
My Yorkie tore his CCL. This ramp has been an invaluable tool, both pre and poor surgery. Great design!
