SET UP YOUR PUPPY’S 1ST VETERINARIAN APPOINTMENT

Prior to leaving my home, your puppy will be Vet Checked, fully wormed, and will have received 1-2 of his/her 1 Distemper/Parvo Vaccines, however, he/she will need continued Distemper/Parvo boosters until 17 weeks of age. Many Veterinarians can become overbooked quickly and making an appointment in advance is key.

PUPPY PROOF YOUR HOME

Please make sure that you remove anything that could be harmful or hazardous out of your puppy’s way. They are like Toddlers, and they will get into things that they should not if left out.

SUPPY LIST

Please take the time to read my comprehensive guide and list of necessary items to buy before bringing home your puppy. These are all the personal items I have bought myself and many I have learned through trial and error. There are such a wide range of items in each category, I am hoping that by giving you my recommendations, it will simplify this process.

CARE & FEEDING

Please educate yourself by reading my “Care & Feeding” section under “INFO” before you bring your puppy home. This will educate you on feeding,

Hypoglycemia, Periodontal Disease, crating, housebreaking, grooming, when to Spay or Neuter, Vaccines, and more.

PET INSURANCE

As a Breeder I have partnered with Trupanion and your puppy’s entitled to 30 days of free Pet Insurance, but you must activate it within the first 24 hours of receiving your puppy, so please do not forget to call them right away when you get your new baby. With the cost of Veterinarian care continuing to rise, this is a must have for any new pet parent.
